Could the Internet Be the Answer?

In a country that is nearing bankruptcy drastic measures will need to be taken in order for the country to survive. There is help on the way but with this will mean years of tax increases and a decrease of social assistance. More people will lose their jobs and more people will leave their home country. Perhaps if some of the people of Ireland were able to market themselves out to the international market the average Irish person could withstand to make a good living. The rest of the world seems to be picking themselves up after the recession. People in the United States, Canada, Australia and other european countries have expendable cash flow again. There are many beautiful and rare handicrafts here that you can't get anywhere else. Why not sell these items online? Or perhaps self teach yourself to market products online, write an ebook on something you know a lot about. I can see the opportunity that exists to better oneself here. I hope it becomes a trend as it could be something that does get the country out of serious trouble.
